Safe, Natural Products Are Very Effective And Actually Speed Up The Tattoo Healing Process.

The best advice I can offer on how to properly care for a new tattoo is NOT TO USE LOTION ON A FRESH TATTOO! Most tattoo artists advise their clients to use a rich ointment for the first few days of healing, followed by unscented, colorless lotions to keep the skin moisturized, protected, and prevent color fading. These lotions are relatively cheap and available at your local drugstore. However, almost all of these lotions contain ingredients that are recently proven to be more harmful than beneficial for tattoo health. Here are 5 tips for tattoo aftercare:

1. Gently Cleanse, Stay out of the sun, and away from heat- During the healing and aftercare process, which may take several weeks, gently cleanse the tattoo daily with fragrance-free, anti-bacterial body soap and luke warm water. For the first few days, no sun, swimming, sweating, or dirt. Keep your tattoo dry and clean. For the first 24 hours, try to ice the tattoo as often as you can, this will help reduce inflammation and also help with the pain.

2. Only oil or oil-based ointment for first 3 days- It is advised by some not to use lotion at all for the first few days because of the high risk of infection. However, there are safe, natural products that are very effective and actually speed up the healing process. For immediate tattoo aftercare, look for a light, oil-based product containing hemp seed oil, tea tree oil, aloe vera, and jojoba oil.

Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. It is a very effective remedy against countless skin ailments, infections, cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites and skin spots etc. Using tea tree oil combined with hemp seed oil will provide rich omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. Using these oils will lightly moisturize, protect, and heal the skin without causing irritation or color loss.

3. Avoid plasma crusting on tattoo- For the first day, your tattoo will seep a clear liquid called plasma. Try not to let this crust on your skin, but if it does, gently wash it off with warm water.

4. After first 3 days, keep skin moisturized with all natural lotion- Keeping the skin hydrated during the peeling process and long after will help with itchiness, flakiness, and preserving the richness of your tattoo color. Like I said before, beware of lotions that contain harmful ingredients such as lanolin or petroleum. Instead use a lotion that is rich in fatty acids for free radical protection and non-greasy hydration. Hemp seed lotions are the best for this.

Hemp seed oil is rich in omega 3, 6, and 9 and it is easily absorbed into the skin. Hemp contains anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties that are healthy and non-irritating to the skin. Continue to use a hemp seed oil lotion long after your tattoo is healed and enjoy longer, truer tattoo color and skin health.

5. Watch the ingredients- Lanolin is an ingredient some will use, and lanolin causes allergic reactions in a lot of people. Lanolin is the natural oil that comes from sheep’s wool. Some tattoo aftercare also contain products such as bee’s wax or petroleum, which can clog pores and contain contaminants. These ingredients are widely popular in over-the-counter creams and lotions because they are cheap and easy to manufacture. The lanolin and mineral oil found in these lotions cause excessive seeping, clogging, scabbing, scarring and color loss. Stay away from products that contain mineral oil, dyes, propylene glycol, or parabens.

Earthly Body’s Tattoo Tonic preserves tattoo color, is non-fading, vegan, and free of petroleum, lanolin, and paraben. Works wonders on healing piercings as well.

Each and every woman has her own bikini area “style.” Regardless of whether you prefer the bare Brazilian look, the “landing strip,” or just cleaning up the edges – we all suffer from annoying and uncomfortable razor burn, bumps, and ingrown hairs once in a while. There are certain shaving techniques, pre, and post shave products that will help, if not eliminate that painful, itchy “plucked chicken” look. Here are some tips for healthy and safe shaving “down there.”

1. Exfoliate – Gently scrub the bikini area before shaving to remove dead skin that leads to pore-clogging, post-shave irritation. You can use a scrubby cloth, or a regular body or facial scrub. Exfoliating this area on a regular basis will help prevent future irritation, ingrown hairs, and skin sensitivity.

2. Wait Until The End Of Your Shower, And Use A Natural, Oil-Based Shave Cream – For the sensitive skin in your bikini area, there is a basic shaving technique that experts agree works for everyone. Most experts suggest waiting until the end of a shower to shave. After your skin has been soaking, hair and skin become softer, allowing for a close, gentle shave. Apply an emollient-rich, cream-based shave cream containing argan and hemp seed oils to add moisture and protection during your shave.

3. Shave With Hair Growth First, Then Against The Grain – Pubic hair is coarse, and the skin in that area is the most prone to irritation. Start by shaving in the same direction as the hair growth. Then, if you want a smoother, completely hairless look, shave against the grain, and rinse. This technique can be used on all body hair, but generally finer hair on the legs and arms can be shaved against the grain from the start. It is best to use a fresh razor every time your shave our bikini area.

4. Gently Pat Dry – After you are done shaving, pat the skin dry – don’t rub. Rubbing with a towel irritates the skin, and should not be done regardless of whether the skin is freshly shaved or not. You should also try to keep out of the heat to avoid sweating for 24 hours after shaving to prevent itchiness and ingrown hairs.

5. Apply an All Natural After Shave Treatment – Apply an after shave treatment containing all natural ingredients. Tea tree oil-based products are particularly effective for a freshly shaved or waxed bikini area. Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. It is a very effective natural remedy against countless skin ailments, infections, cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites and skin spots etc.

Using Tea tree oil will help heal and renew the skin, which allows you to shave more often and maintain a close shave with minimal irritation. Look for a product that combines tea tree oil with more emollient, vitamin E and Omega 3, 6, 9 rich oils such as hemp seed oil, avocado, rose hips, soybean, jojoba and apricot oil to moisturize and protect freshly shaved skin. These types of after shave oils are great for after waxing as well.

6. Stay Away From Products That Contain Harmful, Irritating Ingredients – Freshly shaved skin that is as sensitive as the bikini area easily absorbs any products you may apply, therefore it is important to avoid harmful or irritating chemicals. Be sure to avoid pre and post shave products that contain mineral oil, dyes, sulfates propylene glycol, acetylsalicylate (which is potentially toxic and present in many shave products), phthalates or parabens.

Many people consider moroccan argan oil to be the absolute best oil for hair, for skin care, and as a treatment for a number of skin diseases and ailments.

Argan oil is a precious and rare oil and has many healthy benefits for skin. It is used for other reasons than simply skin care – making it worthy of its “Miracle Oil” title.

Its simple beauty secrets have been known for many years in Morocco where women use it daily for hair and skin care. It can reduce the frizzies and add shine to hair, in addition to adding a more natural hydration to hair and skin. It helps regenerate the skin and to restart the cells’ vital functions. Argan oil also aids in the neutralization of free radicals, and is nutritious as well.

Argan oil comes from the kernel of the Argan which grows well in areas prone to drought. It is quite rich in Vitamin E, as well as in phenolic acid and phenols. It also contains helpful quantities of squalene and carotenes. All of these Vitamins and minerals make Argan oil most suitable for uses on skin.

Many natural skin products are also organic in nature, and you can combine them for the best effects, such as adding Argan oil to Shea butter. By using natural products like this you can keep your skin looking young.

Unroasted Argan oil is used traditionally to treat many skin diseases which is why it is so valuable to the skin care field. Argan oil skin care will help alleviate signs of psoriasis and eczema. An application of Argan Moroccan oil to your scalp will soothe any irritation you may have there. People who suffer from Psoriasis feel that the use of Argan oil has helped in clearing their skin of the physical remnants of the disease.

If you are purchasing Argan oil, make sure the product you select is authentic. Reputable dealers who carry the product are the safest to buy from, so you know what you’re getting. If you are visiting Morocco and wish to buy the oil directly, make sure that you are getting the actual natural argan oil.

An Argan oil skin care regimen has fatty acids which help to soften cracked, dry skin. It is more effective even than Shea butter for this purpose, which makes it a perfect moisturizer for your face and hands. When used on hair, its properties will help to tame hair that is unmanageable, fly-away and hard to control.

Argan oil from Morocco can be used day and night to help your skin to regenerate itself. It also will moisturize your skin and help to prevent early aging signs, which may be brought on by stress, bad weather and the sun. Argan oil is well-suited for most any skin type, and it helps to rid skin of dry and stretched-looking areas and wrinkles.

Skin care, once thought of as expensive and time-consuming, can actually be a surprisingly easy, effective boost to your health and confidence. There are several ways to take care of your skin, including diet, exercise, cosmetics, and the use of natural skincare products.

Skin care, once thought of as expensive and time-consuming, can actually be a surprisingly easy, effective boost to your health and confidence. There are several ways to take care of your skin, including diet, exercise, cosmetics, and the use of natural skincare products. Simple products and choices can elongate your skin’s youthful appearance and prevent future problems. Good skin care can simple. From proper cleansing to using the right skincare solutions, here are a few healthy tips:

The appearance of our skin is affected by our digestion. Many common skin conditions like rosacea and psoriasis have possible root causes in digestive issues. Regular daily hydration – specifically water – is the most effective way to combat problems in digestion. Water cleans out the cells in your body, removing the bacteria and waste that infects your skin. Drinking the recommended eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day will speed the process of cell-cleansing and will lead to better skin cell content.

The best source for regulating digestion is dietary fiber. While many people lack fiber in their normal diet, it is one key factor that can help your digestive system work properly and make your skin look better. Men and women should consume an average of 30 grams of fiber per day for their digestive system to operate optimally. The average person only consumes about a third of that.

An easy way to increase fiber in your diet is to add snacks like seeds, nuts, and dried fruits. Food sources such as oats, flaxseed, peas, beans, apples, carrots and citrus fruits also boost your fiber and power up your digestive system.

Exercising helps blood circulation and creates perspiration which allows you to sweat, secreting excess waste that sets in your skin. Exercising tightens skin tone and helps the texture of the epidermis. The circulation restores the natural glow that your skin possesses which is usually dulled by the sedentary skin. Exercising will have you feeling more energetic and confident, helping esteem and eliminating stress.

The UV rays can be very damaging to your skin; it is important to protect yourself from the sun if you are outdoors for long periods of time. The sun is the leading cause of wrinkles, age spots, dry skin, and skin cancer. The sun is the hottest in the middle of the day and when the rays are most damaging.

Sunscreen is a must: apply sunscreen before you go outside so it has time to seep into the skin providing you with the most protection. Wear sunglasses when it’s bright out — the UV rays are one of the top reasons for impaired vision. Over time, the sun damages the eyes even when not looking at the sun.

Exfoliating is a process that should be performed daily to ensure healthy, more youthful-looking natural skin. The first step is choosing the proper product for your skin. There are many different cosmetics but there are some that contain ingredients that can be harmful to the very goal you are trying to achieve.

Using natural skin care products is a good way to ensure safe, healthy results. Natural sea salts and dead-sea salts are great for exfoliating the body and natural sugar scrubs are a little less irritating for the face. Some products contain hemp seed oil, and avocado, apricot, jojoba or Vitamin E oils as added natural emollients. When cleaning and exfoliating skin use warm, not hot, water.

Water that is too hot will extract the moisture from your skin leaving it rough and less healthy than before. Use a circular motion when washing your skin because the rounded movement opens the pores allowing you to clean hidden dirt. When drying your skin pat it, do not wipe it. Patting will allow some of the remaining water to seep into your body and help with the moisturizer you apply following the cleansing.

Daily use of moisturizing natural skincare products is one of the easiest and most important ways to care for your skin. When bathing or showering, many people find ordinary soaps drying to the skin. Shower gels infused with skincare oils such as hemp seed, vitamin e, or natural vegetable-based glycerins soften as they clean. Try to avoid products that use either Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, as studies have shown damaging and even toxic effects with long-term use.

Whether it be an all-natural after-bath or shower skin oil spray, a moisturizing skin lotion or skin butter, daily skin moisturizing will offer protection from the elements, anti-aging properties, and will give skin a feel-good healthy glow.

When looking at skincare products try to shop for those containing natural oils and botanical extracts. Popular moisturizing skin care ingredients include hemp seed oil, argan oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, apricot oil, coconut oil, vitamin e, and shea butter. It should be noted that not all synthetic chemicals are necessarily bad or unsafe.

Many naturally-based skin care products require a few chemical compounds to work effectively, maintain stability, and to preserve shelf-life. However, one should try to avoid skin care products that contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, or artificial dyes.

Conclusion: Natural skin care is a key part in benefiting your outer appearance. Apply these simple tips and you will soon have smoother, brighter skin that leave you feeling healthier and more confident!
