Here’s a little bit about Dr. Nichter.

Dr. Larry Nichter- Newport Beach Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Larry Nichter has been performing Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Southern California since 1985 where he began his career as a professor of plastic surgery at USC.

He’s a graduate of  the Boston University School of Medicine, did his internship at UCLA and completed his postgraduate surgery training at the University of Virginia. He did residencies at UCLA and the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Dr. Nichter is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of most of the prestigious plastic surgery societies.  His outstanding surgical skills and warm way with patients continue to bring him local and national recognition.

He’s been featured in U.S. News and World Report, Newsweek magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and he’s appeared on TV and Radio. He has been acknowledged in Orange Coast Magazine as one of “The Best Plastic Surgeons in Orange County” each year since1996 when the survey began.

This was determined by a survey of thousands of physician specialists and fellow Plastic Surgeons in the Pacific Region who selected which specialists they would feel most comfortable sending a friend, loved one or themselves to for Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Nichter is also the President and Founder of the Plasticos Foundation, which is a non-profit group that travels around the world performing reconstructive surgery on disfigured children and trains the local surgeons in current surgical techniques. He’s participated in more than thirty-five medical missions through the Plasticos Foundation and similar organizations.
